Details:
Hands on low level device driver and diagnostics code design knowledge, familiar with build tools: compiler/linker and bin util tool chain.
Hands on coding experience in C, script programming (e.g. bash, tcsh, TCL/Expect, Perl).
Past experience in Assembly level coding and debugging is preferred.
Familiar with the programming issues in kernel and user space, with some knowledge of OS internals (Linux, BSD)
Working knowledge of high-speed system hardware theory of operation (e.g. CPU, memory/cache, IO, Industry Standard busses)
Has programmed modern processor CPU complexes in the past (e.g. x86, MIPS, ARM, PPC)
Experience with lab bring up and design validation on products
Some networking knowledge is preferred
Familiarity with lab debug tools is preferred
Ability to interface with other disciplines, including hardware design, production software, and manufacturing, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Minimum 5+ years of relative experience with BSEE
