Position: Software Engineer

Our client company in Mountain View, CA is currently looking for a full time Staff Software Engineer to join their team. This is a full time, direct hire position. Company offers competitive base salary, annual bonus, stock options, and full benefits. Local candidates highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative and high quality software solutions using best-practices with minimal supervision.
Work with product managers to understand and analyze requirements.
Write detailed design specifications.
Participate in requirement reviews and design reviews.
Work with Project Manager to estimate and produce timely deliverables.
Research and troubleshoot problems in the software.
Follow established processes for documentation, development cycles and build management.

Skills & Qualifications:
6-8 years experience developing commercial enterprise-level applications.
B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
Strong experience with C++ (Visual C++ preferred), C# and .NET technology.
Good experience in relational database development, preferably in Oracle and PL/SQL.
Knowledge/Experience in ASP.NET is a plus.
Knowledge/Experience in Datawarehouse is a plus.
Good understanding of Web Services and internet-based technology.
Ability to quickly isolate and troubleshoot issues.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
