We are currently looking for a Product Manager (Sun / STK
/ Oracle) to join our Sun Solutions department in Los Angeles or San
Francisco, CA.

JOB SUMMARY:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate the development of “product and service strategies” that bring a high level of
value to Forsythe customers and support the long-range growth of the Sun / STK /
Oracle product area and Forsythe solution oriented go to market strategy.  These solutions include hardware solutions,
systems software selections, technical implementation services, and
infrastructure solutions.
Responsible
for optimizing Forsythe’s participation in any available vendor programs and
revenue stream, as well as the integration of the vendor’s sales organization
and Forsythe’s sales organization.
Manage
and execute personal visits and working sessions with solid leads and qualified
prospects - engaging Forsythe’s account managers where appropriate.
Assist
with all marketing / Co-op funding events to drive a positive ROI per solution
campaign.  Including solutions
development and Go-to-market offerings.
Track and deliver against gross and net margin objectives.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
required
Bachelor’s Degree, or related
equivalent experience,
required

EXPERIENCE:
- 7 or more years of experience including pre-sales, technical product specific Sun / STK /
Oracle related experience desired.
- Experience configuring systems and
the ability to review and approve other’s configurations.
- 5 or more years of experience in Sun / STK / Oracle programs management and the ability to
apply those programs to opportunities to increase competitiveness and
profitability.
- 3-5 years of leadership or management experience required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Certified in specific product technical expertise preferred

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Excellent presentation skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Additionally, this person must be
able to become proficient in the use Forsythe’s standard set of applications and
reporting tools
- Relationship skills to develop and grow Forsythe’s relationship with their partner’s end-user sales and channel
support organizations.
- Must be able to understand work flow and process to actively participate and lead their
team towards operational excellence.
