Position: Workforce Management Project Leader

This individual must have managed global projects for employee workforce management, payroll or retail time management.  Due to an extremely aggressive timeline, only experienced project managers will be considered.

This position will also require travel to our Compensation Services business group in Austin Texas on a regular basis as requirements are completed and the project gets going.  Additional travel internationally may be required as the system is deployed.

Join a dynamic team of IS&T systems professionals focused on providing innovative business solutions on a global level using innovative technology. This senior technical project manager position will lead Global Compensation projects from inception through implementation.

Working with end users, IT professionals and global Apple business leads, this person will lead projects to keep Apple’s Employee Systems at the forefront of usability and functionality to meet business demands.

The successful candidate will have:

- Managed systems projects, having cross-functional, global, and organizational implications focused on Workforce Management, with additional experience in payroll and HR applications.
- Have a broad understand of Workforce Management processes. Labor Scheduling and/or Time and Labor experience are a plus.
- Experience integrating systems with up and downstream systems.
- Previous experience with customizing UI for different countries and user types.
- Designed and executed testing strategies and plans.
- Developed and executed implementation strategies and plans including training plans, materials, and documentation.
- Worked with Corporate, Retail, and Call Center organizations in support of Workforce Management systems solutions.
- Communicated directly and independently with customers, IT professionals, and developers in the analysis and resolution of development and production situations.
- Experience with J2EE-based solutions is a plus.
- Experience working with Apple technology such as Cocoa, Mac OS X is a plus.

Normally requires a BS in engineering, computer science or other technical disciplines plus 8-10 years of experience or an MS degree plus 6-8 years of experience, or equivalent.
