MGO is an organization that manages vendor relationships across the globe on behalf of several internal partner teams in CSS, as well as provides a variety of shared services functions to other organizations across Microsoft (LCA, MS Ops, BOSD, MTP, etc.). The Shared Services organization is accountable for a variety of functions including communications and strategy management, people related initiatives & community service, overall vendor management process framework deliverables, global contracting services and vendor infrastructure services.

Job Scope and Purpose:
In your role leading the global communications and strategy programs for MGO, you will drive the overall consistency and integration of internal and external messaging throughout the business, across Microsoft and to our internal customers. Create and manage the communication plan for the organization.

Prepare key emails and supporting documents for regular business/strategy updates and organizational announcements, internal partner interactions, and MS executive updates and adhere to a consistent writing style in all communications.

Review event materials, presentation decks, and coordinate review and sign off with all necessary stakeholders prior to all events.

Work with the overall 3 year strategy refresh team to update and create all supporting materials and strategy documentation during the annual cycle, as well as manage the ongoing update processes for all strategic initiatives and scorecards to ensure the organization is tracking strongly against all deliverables throughout the year.

Build innovative and effective presentations that reinforce the key messages and further the strategy.
This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly. Attention to detail, excellent project management skills and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude are required to manage the variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
