Position: Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Manage the accounting operations; implement procedures to
achieve accounting efficiencies.
- Drive the month end close process and ensure accuracy of
transactions and ensure that all deadlines are met: review all
accounting transactions to ensure GAAP compliance.
- Take ownership of closing the company books, which includes
preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations,
internal and external financial statements and footnote disclosures.
- Make recommendations to continue process improvements within
the group and key interface groups.
- Prepare meaningful and accurate monthly reports for
management, with variance analyses and insights into account
fluctuations.

Requirements:

- BA/BS in Accounting: CPA preferred.
- Experience working in Retail or E-Commerce a plus.
- Minimum 7 years experience with progressive growth and 2
years in a management/supervisory role.
- Strong attention to detail, an analytical mind, and
understanding of business systems.
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, multi-
task, make decisions under time constraints, meet deadlines. Deliver
results.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (Great Plains)
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication
skills.
