Novariant is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply-Chain Manager to join our team of professionals in Fremont, CA.

Our machine control solutions employ Real-time Kinematic (RTK) Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and other patented technologies to provide machine guidance, terrain mapping, and GIS services primarily to the agriculture industry.

Job Description:

- SCOPE: Responsible to establish strategic & tactical Material Plans to meet the business & revenue goals of the corporation. Makes decisions on operational & materials matters that affect the supply chain, inventory and logistics.
- JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- DISCRETION: Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division or company operations.
- INTERACTION: Regularly interacts with executives and internal customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers/suppliers and management while attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
- SUPERVISION: Responsible for managing the Material Supply-Chain and Inventory Control programs for our AutoFarm product family working with department managers within the Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance organizations.

Job Requirements:

- 10+ years experience as a Supply Chain Manager within Operations. Responsible for managing all functions within the designated supply channel to include; Purchasing, Contract Manufacturing Management, Inventory Control, global multi-facility inventory and logistics.
- Experience in establishing and managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet corporate objectives, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Experience in leading programs; NPI, cost reduction, standard costs, inventory logistics/freight-forwarding.
- Experience in identifying and managing opportunities to reduce COGS.
- Experience working with complex products and multi-product environments.
- Experience working with GPS and RF products is a plus.
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment a must.
