Position: Solaris and SAN Admin Job at Rocklin CA
Location: Rocklin CA

Job Description:
In person required, locals preferred

This person will share a cube with someone and will also have to perform
racking, cabling, OS installs etc- It’s a Sys Admin position with an
emphasis on storage and backup mgmt.
Duration:
6 months Targeted Start Date: 6/26/2009

Required Skills:
Solaris Administration, Veritas, VM, VCS, Jumpstart, SAN, Switch Experience
-McData i10K Switches, Veritas Netbackup, Racking, Cabling, OS installs

Skills Required:
- Critical to have Solaris Administration, Veritas, VM, VCS (Veritas Cluster
Server), Jumpstart experience
- Communication skills very important
- Some SAN experience is good, but they will train on SAN as needed
- SAN Experience (Customer has HDS, Sun Branded HDS, HP Branded HDS)
- Switch Experience (Customer uses McData i10K Switches
- Will be responsible for managing Backup Environment (Customer uses Veritas
Netbackup)
