Position: Senior Account Executive w/ Technology Background SoCal Home Office Based

The individual who fills this Account Executive position will have responsibility for exponentially expanding our relationships, revenue, and influence with OEMs and Tier 1 System Vendors in the NA In-Vehicle market. 

Primary focus for this position will be the Asian customers based on the west coast.

The incumbent must have an outstanding track record of exceeding aggressive sales objectives and achieving benchmark levels of customer satisfaction.

Existing senior-level executive relationships and an understanding the Automotive Business as well as channels of distribution are also critical for this position.  T

his Account Executive will be held accountable for achieving/exceeding near term monthly revenue goals while positioning NT for long term success by driving the mass market adoption of In-Vehicle navigation and broadening the utilization of our database and emerging technologies across all targeted Automotive  OEMs.

- Customer Expert - is the recognized expert on all facets of the customer’s organization including an unparalleled understanding of key decision processes.  Utilizes this knowledge to develop, communicate, and implement a clear, simple, customer focused vision consistent with NT’s vision and mission.
- Industry Knowledge - thorough understanding of the PC manufacturing industry as well as a comprehensive understanding of the principles of push/pull PC Channel requirements.
- Competitive Knowledge - acquires a complete understanding of emerging competitors’ strategies/actions and develops counter-strategies ensuring that NT continues as the leading digital map database supplier.
- Technically Savvy - quickly develops a core understanding of the database, related software and hardware platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Financial Knowledge - understands the OEMs key financial measures, and NT’s accounting methods with an emphasis on accurate forecasting and budgeting as well as a comprehensive understanding of the Bill of Material components necessary for a successful OEM PDA Navigation solution.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 20+ years of Sales experience within a Computer, Electronics or Software field
- Must be able to travel one week per month; some travel to Asia
- Candidate must reside in either Orange County or Los Angeles, CA
