â€¢ 5+ years direct experience in Sales or Sales Support
â€¢ B.S. or equivalent experience in business application development and experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.
Business and Process Analysis
â€¢ Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
â€¢ Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and
distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
â€¢ Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following documents as needed: Business Requirements
Documents, Process Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Screen and Interface designs.
â€¢ Serve as the conduit between the user community, sales management and software development teams.
System and Process Design
â€¢ Translate high level business requirements into user requirements and functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to user requirements during the development life cycle.
â€¢ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of capabilities of information technology and applications, enabling the identification of opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
â€¢ Educate the IT organization on the changes to the business processes resulting from both strategic and tactical needs of the business and from compliance and regulatory changes
â€¢ Act as business subject matter expert to facilitate testing strategy and approach throughout the system life cycle.
User Training and Change Management
â€¢ Develop and refine training materials for sales systems that are tailored to sales representatives and managers.
â€¢ Deliver classroom and online training on sales force automation and order management systems.
â€¢ Participate in the identification and planning of significant business/process changes relative to the implementation of new systems.
â€¢ Demonstrate a good understanding of the disciplines and approaches of organizational change and establish the initial organizational change agenda.
