QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive knowledge of Pivotal, Saleforce.com, or other SFA/CRM application required.
• Ability to provide sales system training and evangelize tool benefits to diverse users.
• Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements for developing IT applications and
systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• 5+ years direct experience in Sales or Sales Support
• B.S. or equivalent experience in business application development and experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Business and Process Analysis
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and
distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following documents as needed: Business Requirements
Documents, Process Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Screen and Interface designs.
• Serve as the conduit between the user community, sales management and software development teams.

System and Process Design

• Translate high level business requirements into user requirements and functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to user requirements during the development life cycle.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of capabilities of information technology and applications, enabling the identification of opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
• Educate the IT organization on the changes to the business processes resulting from both strategic and tactical needs of the business and from compliance and regulatory changes
• Act as business subject matter expert to facilitate testing strategy and approach throughout the system life cycle.

User Training and Change Management

• Develop and refine training materials for sales systems that are tailored to sales representatives and managers.
• Deliver classroom and online training on sales force automation and order management systems.
• Participate in the identification and planning of significant business/process changes relative to the implementation of new systems.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the disciplines and approaches of organizational change and establish the initial organizational change agenda.

Sales Systems Business Analyst and Trainer
Reporting to the Manager of Sales Systems in the Sales Operations team at Cisco WebEx, this position is responsible for representing the sales force worldwide, specifically focused on supporting sales
systems and tools. This will include understanding sales models, methodologies and business processes; championing business needs;specifying sales systems improvements; training sales representatives
on the effective use of sales tools; leading change through process improvement.
