Position: Database Administrator

We are rapidly growing our engineering and operations staff. We have a
talented collection of developers, drawn from many disciplines with degrees in
EE, Mech. E., Chem. E., Aero/Astro, Physics as well as CS. What we have in
common is the interest and desire to build sophisticated models and simulations
of the real physical world in real time. We are seeking to fill a number of
different positions including:
Database Administrator

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the
primary responsibility of this individual is to provide Database Administration
(DBA) support for MAK’s business systems including Accounting, Project
Management, and CRM. The Database
Administrator will be responsible for database maintenance, system
documentation, and providing user support including training and custom report
generation.

A minimum of one year experience in a DBA role, or similar
user support role, and working knowledge of the following is required:

- Crystal Reports writing/editing and debugging
- Microsoft SQL database query writing, editing and debugging
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 database maintenance, included performance analysis for mutli-server environment

Experience with Sage MAS500 and/or CRM is desirable in the
following capacity:

- Custom report writing/creating and editing existing reports.
- Custom SQL query writing/creating and editing of existing queries
- MAS500 administration (client installs/upgrades, user account management,
troubleshooting).

Additional Skills and Experience in the following are
desirable:

- Basic troubleshooting of desktops and laptops in a networked environment
- Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Office Suite
