Position Overview:
This is a Senior Project Manager position in a fast paced E Commerce, E Finance environment for a leading on-line integrated financial service company.  You will lead and project- manage cutting edge projects for brokerage, cash management, banking, integrated financial products and services.  You’ll need to have high energy and be highly motivated, have demonstrated success in a fast paced project management environment and be PMP Certified.    You will be required to lead and motivate development teams working within defined project schedules; the successful candidate must be a team player and enjoy working with other people on challenging projects.

This position will report to a Senior Manager of Technical project management.  The Project group manages projects for an engineering organization consisting of 8 cross functional technical teams in a department of 140 engineers.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibility for planning and directing delivery teams on each assigned project ranging from small to large in size.

Oversee/monitor all other resources to ascertain the project is meeting all critical specifications and is on schedule and within budget.

Creates and delivers presentations on project goals and plans, including progress reports.

Analyze and resolve technical, resource loading, and project integration issues.

Understand the inter dependencies of various systems within and across projects.

Proactively manages projects through out the Project Management life cycle and SDLC.

Review project documentation including test plans and test cases for
traceability, accuracy and completeness.  Organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
7+  years Project/Program  Management experience.

Project Management Methodologies with Web Technologies.

Must have demonstrated experience with IT development methodologies throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Demonstrated passion for project management and track record of delivering business value through successful project management, implementation, and support.

Must have experience in managing the technical components of large-scale projects and must have achieved mastery in all aspects of project management with emphasis on the technical aspects of planning, execution and deployment.

Must have demonstrated success applying a variety of development methodologies (Waterfall and iterative) across of range of large, complex, multiple-organization projects.

Capable of managing multiple projects 5-7 at any time depends on scope of the project.

Setting and Managing Project Scope / Defining Project Requirements.

Strong Working experience with cross functional teams across the organization.

Project Management experience in Web Application/Software Development.

Must be able to multitask, prioritize his/her work to cater the needs of multiple projects.

Must be a quick learner with an assertive personality who can navigate independently through multiple business units.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, and MS Project.

Excellent verbal / written communication skills.

B.A. or B.S.C.S. desired.

PMP certification:
Project Management in fast pace technology environment
