Position Responsibilities - Summary:
The individual will be leading the system analysis, functional design and
support for the implementation of BI reporting against the Client Reporting
Datamarts in the ICA/Client Applications Systems team. In this role the
individual will work with business analysts, project managers and lead
programmers to define functional and technical solutions to the ad-hoc/BI
reporting needs of our business users and clients.

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive user support, particularly with respect to
investment data and client reporting issues. Track, resolve, and report on
support and enhancement requests, in a timely and thorough manner
- Ensure the continuous availability and operational resiliency of a
suite of Client Applications and related components
- Establish and maintain effective client relationships by having a
high degree of continuous interaction with the end users.
- Work with user to proactively identify opportunities for new and
improved systems
- Take ownership of production incidents, collaborate with others on
remediation, and manage these issues through to a satisfactory completion
- Provide support for other Firm wide initiatives such as Disaster
Recovery testing, Database upgrades, security audits, infrastructure
upgrades, etc.
- Stay abreast of the “state of the art” as it relates to Support,
both within the firm and throughout the industry

Required Skills and Competencies:

Experience with the BI Reporting platforms Required 10
Experience with Oracle BI EE Required 2 to 5
Working knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle Databases Required 10
Working with Investment Data warehouses, Data marts and OLAP
technologies Required 5
Experience with Iterative/Agile Project Management Required 3
Experience with Fixed Income and Equity Markets Desired 3

Keys to this Position:
1. Strong Systems Analysis skills are required, including functional
design.
2. Experience with BI Reporting tools are required, specifically Oracle BI
(OBIEE, which is Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition).
3. Strong client interface skills are required. This individual will work
with business users (Global Relationship Group) and train users.
4. This individual will deliver ad hoc reporting and use the technical
tools, but will not be doing development. Previous development background
is highly desired.
5. Strong Project Management skills are required.
