Role: Lead Systems Analyst Boston

Salary: Up to $125K+

Required Skills and Competencies:
* A minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial services technology environment.
* A minimum of 5 years experience developing or supporting investment applications.
* Strong understanding of investment processes, securities, analytics and market data services.
* Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis for medium to large initiatives.
* Demonstrated experience in formal software development methodologies.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline.
* Prior experience developing or supporting performance measurement or attribution systems is preferred.
* CFA designation or progress towards the CFA designation is strongly desired.

Position Responsibilities:
The Lead Systems Analyst will report to the Principal, Performance Systems and will have the following responsibilities:
* Interact with investment professionals to proactively identify opportunities for new/improved systems.
* Work with business partners to define, analyze and document requirements.
* Document functional specifications for new systems and enhancements.
* Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers, database architects and data vendors to design and implement robust technical solutions.
* Coordinate project tasks across multiple IS groups.
* Plan and perform functional testing of new systems and enhancements.
* Provide ongoing support including issue tracking and status reporting. Work with business partners to prioritize support needs.

Keys to this Position:

1. Strong Systems Analysis skills at the Lead level. We are seeking a senior resource that will initially lead projects and eventually lead a staff.
2. Domain Knowledge: Investment Management experience required. Exposure to Back Office Systems, such as Performance Attribution, Performance Measurement or Cash Flow would be a big plus. Other Back Office applications are also a plus (settlements, SWIFT, pricing, Security Master, Corporate Actions, etc.).
