We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Systems Management team.

Position Summary:
This position in the Application Software group is responsible for the technical design and implementation of user interfaces across LogLogic products. You will be working with seasoned user experience designers, architects, application developers and data modelers to create the next generation of LogLogic products.  You will need to be well versed in at least one or more of these areas: Ext-JS, Flash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and AJAX.  Familiarity with Adobe/Macromedia design tools is a plus.  This position will allow you to work on new applications, giving you the opportunity to influence the technical direction, while contributing to the look and feel of our future products.  If you are an outstanding team player looking for an exciting challenge, and you are experienced in web based user interaction development with multiple shipped products under your belt, we want to talk with you!

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary job responsibilities for this position are to:

- Implement intuitive, consistent, elegant user interfaces and work flows for new and existing features based on requirements from Product Marketing and Engineering.

- Work with the User Experience Designer to turn the LogLogic’s UI vision into reality.

- Quickly become an expert LogLogic user and use that knowledge in the design and implementation of seamless new feature work flows.

Ideal Experience and Skill set

The ideal candidate should have:
- 7+ years of web based user interface, user interaction, and work flow development.

- Proven track record implementing user interfaces for complex web based applications.

- Experience with Ext-JS, AJAX, Flash and other Web 2.0 technologies, HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Ability to implement web applications using JAVA, JSP and databases such as MySQL,

- Good interpersonal and written communication.

- Experience developing applications that manage large datasets is highly desirable.

- Experience developing Enterprise-class, appliance-based, and/or shrink-wrap applications is a plus.

Education:
B.S. Computer Science (or related field).
M.S. Computer Science (a plus)
