Position Responsibilities - Summary:
The IT Client Systems Team is responsible for the development and support of
Corporate Business applications. This team consists of approximately 35
technology professionals whose key functions include application
development, system integration, application support, and production
support.  The supported business areas are Client Services, Performance
Analytics, Business Development, Renewable Resources, Finance, and Human
Resources.
The Lead Developer will participate in a development capacity on an existing
client reporting application.  The project team currently consists of three
developers.  The candidate should be familiar with the Microsoft technology
stack in general, and .NET in particular.

Lead developer with some project management responsibilities.  Must be a
developer that has moved up the ranks, not a PM that can do some coding.

Position Responsibilities - Detailed:
- Propose and design technical solutions
- Mentor the members of your team
- Communicate with the business
- Manage the project and team
- Enhance existing components
- Provide remediation for existing system issues
- Participate in peer reviews (both code and design reviews)
- Produce effective technical documentation where needed

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Several years of .NET experience, including at least 3 years of
working with .NET 2.0 or above
- Strong object-oriented design and patterns in .NET
- Familiarity with distributed enterprise applications (systems
that span several physical machines)
- Familiarity with .NET 3.5 + C# 3.0 nice to have but not required
- Experience with automated unit testing
- Database proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or preferably
2008)
- Undergraduate degree a must
