Position: Senior Staff Supply Planning Analyst - SanDisk - Milpitas, CA

In this position, the individual will be responsible for owning strategic foundry supply planning for both Memory and/or Controller material. The individual is to balance supply and demand and reduce inventory levels across the enterprise by consolidating data from multiple sites and suppliers and ensure adequate memory and controller inventory and production levels to satisfy demand forecasts while meeting objective for profitability, productivity, inventory, and customer service and must work closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, and Procurement. The individual will also coordinate the agreement between Operations, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, and Procurement to help define Technology Transition schedule for silicon introductions, review this schedule with Operations as needed to ensure understanding for strategic direction regarding wafer fabrication, develop, maintain, and improve the form al foundry supply planning tools to ensure optimal strategic memory balance and each month, according to the deadlines defined in the formal business planning cycle, generate foundry supply plan and provide an appropriate response and direction for long-term wafer procurement strategies. Lastly the individual will develop “What if” forecast simulations and determine the impact on the multiple sites through supply chain planning, generate 12-month foundry supply plan needed for capacity planning, coordinate with Capacity Planning group as needed, work closely with Procurement to communicate foundry supply requirements, validate i2/SCP wafer demand against strategic direction and i2 Supply Chain Planner output as needed and work with Procurement to ensure timely and accurate of foundry supply forecasts are delivered to suppliers.

This position requires knowledge of APS systems and Supply Chain Processes, 2-4 years of experience with i2 Supply Chain Planner in a semi-conductor and/or consumer electronics environment preferred and excellent written and verbal communication. The individual should have 3+ years in semiconductor environment and/or foundry operations, must be proficient Microsoft Office desktop applications, specifically MS Excel and MS Access, have experience working with customer service, foundry manufacturing, and senior management and must be knowledgeable of an S&OP process and be able to adequately communicate plan results to management. Lastly the individual must have experience with cross functional leadership, foundry/Supply Chain Planning experience, systems/i2 experience, breadth of Supply Chain Planning experience and presentation/communication skills.
