Position: Staff Device Engineer

In this position, the individual will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis on advanced read-write memory devices at wafer level. The individual will then be responsible for recommending corrective actions and for developing methods and processes that will improve device performance.

This position requires at least a PhD degree in EE, Physics, material science and a minimum of 5 years semiconductor process and device related engineering experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment and must possess solid technical knowledge and skills in read-write materials and devices. The individual must capable of processing read-write material as well as characterizing read-write material, integrating read-write material into memory array, debugging material and device related problems, and looking to meet the device requirements based on system level aspects. In addition, the individual must have device characterization expertise and be familiar with semiconductor measurement equipment for wafer level and die level electrical testing. Experience in flash memory and process is a plus, while excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required for interfacing with differ
ent groups of the team to define specifications of read-write material, device operation conditions, and improvements to meet future goals.
