In this position, the individual will be responsible for maintaining a very high level of customer satisfaction and will manage, lead and provide technical guidance to a team of technical support experts. The individual will also assist in managing our call centers around the world to provide world-class customer care and manage and supervise the implementation of new services and on going automation efforts. The Senior Manager of Technical Support reports to the Director of Global Customer Support and is responsible for maintaining a very high level of customer satisfaction and will work with the Customer Support and RMA teams to improve RMA rate. The individual will manage, lead, and provide technical guidance to a team of 3-4 technical support L3 engineers to ensure the teams are adequately trained to resolve customer issues and will assist in managing our call centers around the world to provide world-class customer care.

The position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5-6 years of related experience. Prior experience managing technical support professionals in a fast-paced, growing, multi-lingual call center required and experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred. The ideal individual must have proven ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, work across the organization, and drive the necessary activities to solve customer issues. The individual must have the abilities to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems and to multi-task and meet deadlines. In addition, excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer interaction skills are required, as is a willingness to travel (up to 25-50%). A working knowledge of CRM and Online Support Tools is also required.
