Position Responsibilities - Summary:
This individual will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis,
testing, and support of the Geneva portfolio accounting system and its
integration points with other applications and processes at the firm. This
includes system integration with applications such as the account master,
security master, pricing, corporate actions, vendor data feeds, data marts,
and real-time order management and trading systems.
This position requires a high level of interaction with the business users
as well as excellent communication and delivery skills. The candidate
should have a good understanding of portfolio accounting must be a
self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of
assignments in a fast-paced environment with people at all levels of the
organization.
This role will report to the Manager of Investment Administration (IA)
Applications within Information Services (IS).

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Work with business partners to define, analyze and document
requirements.
- Document functional specifications for new systems and
enhancements.
- Collaborate with systems analysts, software developers, database
architects and vendors to design and implement robust technical solutions.
- Work with IS and business teams across the firm to ensure seamless
integration and high data quality across systems  (e.g. Order Management,
Compliance, Trading, Global Relationship Management, Investment Data
Services, Investment Performance)
- Provide ongoing support to business and IS users including
after-hour batch cycle support on a rotating basis.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a systems or business analyst in
a financial services technology environment.
- Domain knowledge of data flows within Portfolio Accounting.
- Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in writing basic SQL commands and comfort in navigating
relational databases.
- Experience in formal software development methodologies.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical
production environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Change Agent, creative, innovative and focused on continuous
improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- CFA charter, or work towards one is a plus.

Keys to this Position:
1. Strong Systems Analysis skills required (gathering requirements, writing
functional specs, working with developers, testing, etc.)
2. Strong Domain Knowledge:  This candidate needs to have experience with
Portfolio Accounting systems (Geneva is a plus). The clients groups include
Portfolio Accounting and Investment Operations.
3. Technical skills:  SQL, the ability to query the database, relational
database experience.
4. Strong Client Relationship skills are required.
