The candidate will provide support for Cisco Media Solutions Group sales operations & strategic initiatives by bringing key skills in operations, business analysis, strategy development, execution planning, and experience creating and leading multiple phases of project lifecycles-

As part of their duties, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Building relationships within the broader Cisco and CMSG cross-functional leaders to drive collaborative solutions that maximize positive impact to our stakeholders-

- Taking complex business problems or new business needs from the point of inception through the phases of discovery and analysis, the development of solution options and ultimately to solution
recommendation

- Developing and implementing solutions and processes to help enhance the sales, customer acquisition, integration and customer satisfaction processes

- Develop, manage and track performance of the Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s); develop solutions to enhance performance

- Work closely with sales management on the development, frequency, execution and follow-up of sales operation activities including organizational meetings, pipeline development and review, etc.

- Lead the development and execution of quarterly business reviews, account reviews and other key periodic business management operations

- Work with sales and product management on the development and execution of process to track, manage and respond to product/feature requirements

- Work with finance and sales management on the development of processes for forecasting, long-term planning, budgeting, invoicing and other finance processes

- Support Salesforce integration, process enhancements, modifications and best practices development

- Support development and maintenance of organizational business plan including business planning, market segmentation, research and development.

- Develop a comprehensive sales training program for both new hires and on-going development-

- Identify and help develop sales tools including term sheets, proposals, ROI calculators, marketing collateral, and events.

- Support recruiting and hiring efforts through resume review, screening/interviewing, development of standard interview process and templates, etc.

- Support organizational development including territory and vertical alignment, resource allocation, etc.

The candidate would ideally bring:
- A demonstrated track record of tackling complex business problems and creating viable solutions-
- Strong analytical skills, ability to create viable solutions, innovation, and ability to execute flawlessly-
- Ability to transition from strategic thinking to managing and solving tactical issues
- Strong presence and desire to present strategic information to a broad range of audiences
- Strong communication skills, active listener, ability to synthesize high level information
- Ability to apply structured problem solving (taking a large, complex problem and breaking it down into components, involve others as needed, drive resolution)
- Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills Proven ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions
- Strong interest in driving change by working with CMSG senior management team

Education & Experience:
- Typically requires BA/BS
- MBA preferred but not required
- Experience in field sales, managing operations, program management, project management or management consulting
- Experience working in large, complex organizations
