Position: Western Regional Sales VP

Location: San Jose, CA

The Position:

The VP will have responsibility for managing the sales efforts of the
“greater” western regional territory. Position reports to the EVP of
WorldWide Field Operations and will manage a staff of Sales Engineers
and Sales Reps. Successful candidate will play a key role in leading
a highly visible, motivated sales team in generating revenues and
achieving individual, team and organizational quotas; will also be a
valuable contributor to the corporate sales strategy while providing
development and implementation of the sales plan to achieve corporate
objectives.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing leadership to direct reports by participating and leading
in client and prospect meetings; engaging corporate resources, as needed
- Development and mentoring of sales team, including recruitment,
hiring, training
- Conducting forecast meetings; coaching on strategy to drive closure
- Monitoring and tracking sales activity/results of the team
- Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior level sales
management

Job requirements:

- 7+ years of software sales experience, preferably in the security
space or a similar enterprise software application environment
- Minimum 3 years solid sales management at executive level; a
demonstrated leader
- Proven track record in a high volume transaction sales environment
- Demonstrated presentation and listening skills
- A self-starter with demonstrated passion to drive the business and win
- BS degree in related field

Texas, Chicago
