Position: Lead Server Architect
Location: San Francisco
Kyte is looking for an “ace” server-side architect with an enthusiasm for working with new technologies and building massively scalable system infrastructures. You will be leading our back-end development team and driving forward a challenging agenda of both new functionality and support for rapidly growing traffic. This position is full-time and you will be working out of our office overlooking Union Square in San Francisco, close to MUNI and BART.

10+ years experience writing high-performance, web-related software with Java/C++
Expert with client/server networked applications
Expert with object-oriented framework and design
In-depth knowledge of Unix, Windows, web servers, and application servers
Experience building massively scalable internet applications
Strong leadership skills
