Position: Junior Systems Administrator

Description:
This position is for a Junior Systems Administrator working evening and weekend shifts in support of the MLB.com Multimedia Division. The candidate must have prior experience with UNIX - Solaris, HP-UX or similar. This person must be able to work independently on basic UNIX issues and be comfortable escalating issues when necessary. Additionally, the ability to work with and support a base of non-technical users on Apple OS X and MS Windows platforms is essential. The person hired for this position will gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced multimedia environment.

Skills Required:
Must be familiar with UNIX - vendor specific UNIX experience is not required. The candidate must be able to operate in an on-demand multimedia environment and follow issues through to resolution. MAC OSX and Windows Server 2000/2K3 experience are plusses. The ability to work nights and weekends is mandatory as this position is for off hours support.
