Position: Full Time QA Engineering
Location: San Mateo CA

Growing software database company backed by Top VC’s including Sequoia Capital is looking for a talented candidate with QA experience, at an individual contributor level, to join its Quality Assurance team. Candidates must have some experience using Selenium and some job history working at smaller (ie less then 500 people) co’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop test plans and test cases according to business and technical requirements
Execute test cases
Identify, research, reproduce issues and report bugs
Add test cases into existing automation harness using Xquery, Java and Selenium

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- MS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2+ years QA experience
- Working knowledge of Java and/or scripting languages
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Understanding of product life cycle, QA principles and process
- Working knowledge of Selenium
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Ability to identify, isolate and document defects
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with developers to help isolate defects and to understand how to structure robust test cases
- Comfortable and adaptable in high-paced environment
