Role: Black Box Engineers for San Mateo Company
Requirements:
*BS /MS in CS/EE with 5-10 years relevant experience in SQA, both black box and white box
*In-depth understanding of QA and SDLC methodology.
*Experience developing automated tests using tools such as Quick Test Pro or Winrunner .
*Exceptional problem solving skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self starter with whatever-it-takes attitude
*In-depth understanding of the software design, development, testing, and release processes
*Experience with Banking, FX or Brokerage application a plus.
*Knowledge of networking concepts. Knowledge of SQL. Experience with browser and operating system compatibility issues.
Job Description
*Develop and execute test plans for white and black box functional testing.
*Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test scenarios using off the shelf tools such as QTP and/or in house developed test tools.
*Work closely with Development and Support to isolate, record, and track issues occurring in production.
*Execute and analyze test runs and report results back to product team
*Work closely with QA Manager for continuous process improvement
*Support of weekly production rollout maintenance.
