WHO WE ARE
We are a ministry called deoworks.org building web tools for Christians — our mission is to connect the body of Christ and accelerate the work of the Kingdom.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
We are a team of eight designers, engineers, marketers, and product people.  We are currently building an Internet Bible tool, a prayer tool and a giving tool.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for enthusiastic, engineers who want to work with a energized, talented team, and want a meaningful platform to hone their skills and have a big impact in a ministry.  As a non-profit, we are looking for volunteer engineers. For those interested in working full-time, opportunities to raise support is available. We are also looking for designers & product managers interested in serving God through this ministry.

Specifics on Tools:
Bible Tool -  We are currently building an online Bible that enables people to share thoughts about the Bible and understand the Bible by reading what others are saying about specific passages. We have built a private beta and are looking for engineers to help push this to the next level.  The Bible Tool is currently programmed in Java and runs on the Amazon Cloud (Tomcat with MYSQL) so we are looking for an engineer that can code in that environment.

Prayer Tool - With the Prayer Tool, people can share prayer requests and connect with other believers. They’ll also get alerts and updates about their friends and prayer partners, and also be connected to Christians of great faith.  The prayer tool is being built using Ruby on Rails.

Giving tool - The giving tool enables users to find, discover, and intimately connect with nonprofits. We also enable users to use the power of social networks to discover new ministries. The giving tool is in the early stages and a platform has not yet been established.  If you’d like to spearhead this project, please contact us.
