Position: Enterprise VAR Channel Manager job in Vesterling Corp - San Antonio, TX

Your Tasks:
You focus on the acquisition and the development of Enterprise Value
Added Resellers and generate sales opportunities through the development of programs and joint business ventures.
The full partnership life cycle from identification, development,
business planning, sales enablement to growth of existing and new
partners is part of your responsibility.
You work closely with the internal sales team to introduce an
infrastructure offering that can be sold by the Enterprise VAR partners.
Jointly with the partners, you develop marketing and go-to market sales
strategies and guarantee the successful execution.
You perform VAR partner business planning and conduct quarterly business planning sessions with key VARs.
In addition, you serve as a link to the VARs in regards to any sales
related issues.
The constant education of VARs, including their sales teams, in product
line and services to ensure 100% success is part of your responsibility.

Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales management or
equivalent
7+ years experience in Channel /
Alliance management
Proven record as partner manager with large enterprise VAR companies in
the networking, storage or virtualization technology
Extensive knowledge of the managed hosting industry or technology /
software industry
Excellent expertise in business planning, business development and
selling (with proven track record)
Excellent executive level communication, public speaking and
interpersonal skills
