project. The candidates for these positions will be reporting to their
office in Virginia.

1) Oracle DBA Engineer
Description of Role:
We are currently seeking 2 Oracle database engineers for a large
government contract. The candidates will be responsible for designing
and implementing enterprise database environments. The candidates will
assist in the design and implementation of highly redundant database
architecture. This position will handle a variety of responsibilities
including: configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting database
environment. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Should be comfortable working in a team
environment and willing to work flexible hours. On-call and after hours
support is a requirement of this position.
Responsibilities:
Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot database software problems.
Performing and coordinating effective installation and performance of
advanced database system software on servers.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install
patches and resolve software related problems.
Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, and other
procedures related to IT.
Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations
for system improvements
Be available for after hours / on-call support.
2) Windows System Admin
Description of Role:
We are currently seeking 19 Windows System Administrators for a large
government contract. These positions will handle a variety of
responsibilities including: configuring, monitoring and maintaining
Windows operating systems. Additionally, these positions are
responsible for ensuring that all servers operate at optimum levels.
The candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication
skills and should be comfortable working in a team environment.
Candidates should be willing to work flexible hours. On-call and after
hours support is a requirement of this position.
Required Skills:
At least 5 years working experience with Mid range Operating Systems for
the following OS - Windows 2003, VMware 3.5, Perform hardware/software
diagnostics. Ability to work effectively in team environment. Thorough
knowledge of configuring, monitoring and maintaining operating systems,
application migrations. Additionally, this position is responsible for
ensuring that all servers operate at optimum levels. The candidates
must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should
be comfortable working in a team environment. Should be able to
support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install
patches and resolve software related problems. Knowledge of shell
scripting, creating and running of release scripting packages
Additional skills: Citrix admin, application migrations planning
3) Unix System Admin
Description of Role:
We are currently seeking 10 Unix System Administrators for a large
government contract. These positions will handle a variety of
responsibilities including: configuring, monitoring and maintaining
Unix operating systems. Additionally, these positions are responsible
for ensuring that all servers operate at optimum levels. The candidate
must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and
should be comfortable working in a team environment and willing to work
flexible hours. On-call and after hours support is a requirement of
this position.
Required Skills:
The candidate needs to have a strong proficiency in the following skill
sets:
At least 5 years working experience with Mid range Operating Systems for
the following OS - Solaris 10 with zones and LDOM’s. Perform
hardware/software diagnostics. Ability to work effectively in team
environment. Thorough knowledge of configuring, monitoring and
maintaining operating systems, application migrations. Additionally,
this position is responsible for ensuring that all servers operate at
optimum levels, the candidate must possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Should be comfortable working in a team
environment. Should be able to support, monitor, test and troubleshoot
hardware and software problems. Install new software releases, system
upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related
problems. Knowledge of shell scripting, creating and running of release
scripting packages. Thorough knowledge of good server and system
administration principles
