In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing and leading SanDisk foreign exchange hedging strategy and programs (FAS133 & FAS52), creating optimal portfolio of hedges to mitigate foreign exchange risk, maintaining relationships with trading counterparties, and ensuring optimal trade execution. The individual will develop and maintain performance metrics on foreign exchange hedging programs, manage month-end reporting processes related to foreign exchange risk management and related SOX 404 activities, and advise on functional currencies of entities, local currency pricing, and other strategic currency decisions. Finally, the individual will provide analytical and execution support to help management assess and resolve significant business issues and initiatives and assist with management of the risk management program, including procuring and managing various corporate insurance policies.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5-6 years of progressive Treasury experience in a multinational organization with proven ability of operating at both the strategic and execution level. An MBA in finance is a plus, and CFA or CCM/CTP credentials are desired. The ideal individual must have excellent understanding of macroeconomics, including foreign currency fundamentals, strong financial modeling skills and attention to detail, and excellent understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, derivatives, and relevant accounting standards, in addition to proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordina
te priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
