A well established growing profitable pre-IPO Search company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to work with an outstanding team of Engineers and Scientists on highly reliable efficient and scalable distributed systems (C++, networking). The team is small and consists of very strong people which enjoy working in a dynamic flat-structured environment.

Requirements:
Extensive experience in building complex efficient distributed highly scalable software systems in Unix environment
Superb problem-solving capabilities
Expert knowledge of C++ and multi-threading programming
Extensive experience in networking programming for Unix (sockets, TCP/IP, UDP)
Desire and experience working in a dynamic fast-paced startup environment
Ability to work independently and lead the projects
Search Engines and internet crawlers development experience is a big plus
Advanced degree from a top school is a plus
