A US global healthcare corporation providing a variety of
healthcare, technology, and other products and services worldwide. Position
is located in NY, about 25 mi from Manhattan.
JOB:
Reporting to the VP Global Product Management, the purpose of the Sr.
Global Brand Manager - Technology & Innovation is three-fold. The first is
to support the development of a global marketing strategy for Technology and
innovation for the Diabetes Care Division. The second is to drive the
tactical implementation of that strategy across the organization, and the
third is to ensure cross-program awareness and implementation of the
strategy. Travel up to 25%. A more comprehensive job description is

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Minimum 8 years marketing experience (mix of in-house and agency
preferred) with 5 years in cutting-edge technology-company marketing/brand
management. Must have experience with P&L, consumer insights, brand
strategy and brand innovation.
NOTE: The company is seeking a person below or currently at the salary
level for this position (mid-$130k base + bonus). If you have significantly

- Thorough understanding of digital marketing and experience delivering
sound technical solutions.
- Deep understanding of:
- Social media and advertising
- Consumer technology devices and trends
- Media distribution & measurement platforms and technologies (e.g. widgets,
video, viral, link sharing)
- Social Network Platform development and integration (e.g. Facebook pages,
MySpace, YouTube, Twitter API)
- Familiarity with presentation layer and RIA development using technologies
such as Flash/AIR, Ajax, Silverlight, and others.
- Web analytics
- Mobile platforms and mobile development
- Content management
- Emerging touch and display technologies.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Competitive compensation of base salary in the mid
$130ks + bonus. Comprehensive benefits package. Relocation package for an
out-of-area candidate.
