Responsibilities:
Manage design, development and maintenance of File System software

Lead a team of experienced File System engineers with development groups at
multiple locations, to ensure timely and complete integration of File System
functionality into the software stack-

Requirements:
Our client company is looking for candidates with strong SW management
skills-

You will be leading a team of engineers and setting the team’s goals,
helping prioritize the work, and managing schedules in an innovative and
fast-paced environment-

In this role you lead a team of six to ten software engineers

You need to have:
- A demonstrated ability to function successfully as a team leader

- This position is responsible for supervising/managing multiple tasks and
multiple groups

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written
communication skills

- A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical
requirements and project management

- A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data
structures and programming practices

- Previous experience in software development

Education and Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in architecture, design and development of
UNIX-like operating systems software-

- Experience with File Systems technology is a strong plus-

- 3-5 years of people-management experience

- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a
PhD; or equivalent experience is required-
