Our client, a global leader in the development and manufacture of
information technology and services needs to fill an opening for a SAS
Analyst/Programmer.

JOB DESCRIPTION - RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAS Analyst/Programmer
- SAS Analyst/Programmer -Software developer will be working on
redesigning and enhancing a Business Intelligence solution. In order to
accomplish rebuilding of solution, must have an in depth knowledge of
the technical skills
- Cross organizational engagements necessary to complete solution in
timely manner
- Work with best shore teams in India collaboratively - requires
flexible working hours
- Flexible work hours required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- MUST have knowledge of OLAP Cubes
- MUST have a proven track record creating Business Intelligence
solutions and work in an agile manner to build the solution
- Must have strong working experience in all the software
development life cycle phases
- Must have the ability to understand complex business requirements
- Must use the requirements and in depth technical skills to quickly
create data models, source the data from various upstream systems and
build reports
- Must have ability to create efficient data models to represent
configuration and incident data for a variety of H/W platforms
- Understanding of XML and regular expressions is desirable
- Prior experience in Oracle performance tuning for the DB developer
is a plus
- Previous experience in data security and user access management a
plus

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Java
- Oracle
- Good Troubleshooting and Analysis Skills
- Data Warehousing/Star schema experience
- Erwin
- MUST have knowledge of OLAP Cubes
- Java, J2EE, Oracle with Business Intelligence work experience
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
- Design knowledge of DAO Object/CRUD Matrix/Data Access Layer
(DAL).

METHODOLOGIES:
- Agile/Scrum
- Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
- Ability to interpret, evaluate and respond to problems and
requests received from business users. Know when to ask for assistance
or clarification
- Good communication skills.
