We are seeking an intelligent and highly motivated senior QA engineer, responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing for the Jive foundation application, Jive SBS.  This person will be designing and developing test infrastructure, writing and executing test cases/test plans.

You have experience testing client-server web applications.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop test strategies to test enterprise web application
Develop and implement automated and manual test cases, test plans, and test specifications
Design, develop and run load & performance tests. Analyze data and present results to stakeholders
Own key application components: work with developers to design with testability in mind; lead the testing effort for that component.
Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a successful, high quality release

Experience / Skills Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
In-depth knowledge of standard web technologies, including app servers, web servers, databases, browsers, etc
Proficient in the following technologies: Java, Tomcat, Apache, Linux/Unix, SQL, HTTP, SOAP/REST
Experience trouble-shooting applications using tools like Firebug, Fiddler, and JProfiler.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
