Position: Sr. Technical Project Manager, San Jose, CA

Details:
Our client in San Jose, CA is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager with strong experience in handling Build and Release environments. This is a contract position for 6-12 months with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:
Cross-team component coordination for optimizing current development and build process

Resolve development environment sub system (Maven, Hudson, SCM, Rally), issues

Guide component structure and integration.

Implementing Maven best practices

Manage versioning alignment of all the projects/ components/dependencies at each iteration of product integration.

Report and organize the chaining of builds. This is a 60% planning and 40% execution role.

Static analysis compliance reporting. Implement Sonar for quality reporting.

Must have skills:
Maven and Subversion (SVN)

Highly desired skills (not a must):  Hudson build tool, Nexus repository manager, Checkstyle, Cobertura.

Excellent knowledge of unit test and static analysis concepts and related tools.

Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
