Position: Senior Strategic Customer Manager job in SanDisk - Milpitas, CA

In this position, the individual will be responsible for accessories and packing definitions and coordinating the qualification process for new product launches, as well as smaller scale product customization of existing product lines, such as adding addition capacities, introducing new packaging or modifying existing packaging, introducing new artwork to existing packaging, and changing or adding accessory and packaging instructions. The individual will also be responsible for software customization and development, including understanding customization requests for generic applications, gathering requirements for special development requests, and evaluating feasibility and timelines with product management.

In addition, the individual will be a focal point for Inside Sales (IS), Operation and Export/Import Manager, and assuming overall responsibility for deliveries by being aware of backlog reports and special backlog problems, communicating channel expedition/delay/cancellation requests from sales to customers, solving credit limit holds, and handling systematic problems with shipments, including delays and insurance claims. Finally, the individual will be responsible for project documents by adjusting generic product specification documentation to meet with customer specifications and certifications and declaration of conformity, as well as delivering continuous improvements by initiating Corrective Action Requests (CAR) via QA and initiating and participating in “lessons learned” process.

This position requires a Masters Degree with 10+ years of Project Manager experience preferably in the Mobile Industry. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives. Outstanding management skills, including diplomacy, clear communication style and employee development. High level of skill in developing, mentoring, empowering, managing, and supporting staff. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
