The primary responsibilities will be server-side system design and development.

Responsibilities:
Drive continuous development of new features and improvements of the scalability and efficiency
Improve all aspects on large distributed platform supporting multi-media communication technologies with the focus on video-communications
Support Linux-based servers in a production environment

Requirements:
- Strong desire to work in a sizzling startup environment
- Very strong Knowledge of Object Oriented Paradigms and design principles
- Expert knowledge of  Java and MySQL,
- Extensive experience in server-side code development for web-based applications
- Expert knowledge of Linux
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying high performance backend servers for commercial systems in Java
- Ability to quickly develop prototypes
- Excellent communication skills

Pluses:
- Strong Math or Statistical Analysis skills
- Experience with mobile devices (iPhone and Android)
- Development experience in C and C++
- Objective-C knowledge
- PHP development experience
- Erlang knowledge
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methods
