Position: .Net Software Developer
Location: Livingston, NJ
Compensation: up to $110K plus benefits

Description:
The Software Developer will be responsible for the development and production operational activities of multiple technology solutions within our Company and it?s clients. This position requires experience in understanding the technical architecture of  it’s client organizations as well as a strong understanding of the our Company’s software development lifecycle model.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the continual upgrading of procedures and applications for our Company’s clients.

Effectively and consistently practice all phases of the system development and implementation process, including the analysis, design, development, code review, unit testing, and ongoing support for the client?s application systems.

Consult with client and company management so that business requirements and functional requirements are clearly understood.

Consult with company team members so that system design documents are clearly understood.

Evaluate and report on the impact of changes across multiple applications.

Report application development activities of project team?s leaders in a consistent and timely manner.

Become a hands-on technical resource on multiple projects and utilizing application development life cycle and release management best practices.

Being responsive to varied and aggressive project deadlines.  Be able to meet project milestones.

Responsible to effectively unit test code.

Participate in regular code reviews

Ability to effectively execute system test plans.

Practice best practices with code readability, code maintenance, and proper code comments.

Qualifications:
An advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Approximately 1-4 years of work experience in application development, full application life cycle, and production/operational systems support.

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple teams to deliverable completion under aggressive timelines

Global application deployment and support experience

Technical experience in:
MS Sharepoint, MS.NET (required)
Oracle, PL/SQL:,
business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Oracle Analytics, and/or Cognos, Java, J2EE framework (preferred)
