Role: Startup Job: Software Development Lead & Engineers

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA

About Us: I am helping out a VC funded startup which has full time multiple open positions for Software Engineers and Leads . The Start up is focussed in the areas of Network Security and Authentication.

Required Skills:
- 4+ years of software development experience in C, C++, Java
- Proficiency in the C, C++ & Java programming language
- Sound knowledge of Networking protocols and security is highly desired
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows) Experience with entire Software Development Life cycle a must
- Experience with Database technologies and Transaction processing, a plus Experience with scripting languages like (Javascript, ANT, Shell), a plus
- Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented and distributed programming principles Extensive knowledge of design patterns and Best Practices Strong Analytical skills
- Good Oral and Written Communication skills

General Attributes:
- Extremely productive as an independent developer Background in most phases of development (i.e., analysis through deployment) Able to take components from inception through finished product Enjoys working in small teams, works well with others, enjoys difficult challenges, a problem solver
- Discipline in good engineering practices (e.g. documentation, unit test generation)
- Education: MS in Computer Science or related work experience
- Work Experience: 4+ years in software industry
- Built and shipped complex enterprise products
