Position: Staff Product Applications Engineer

In this position, the individual will be responsible for providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex products, such as operating systems and capital equipment. The individual will create test plans for pSSD testing, implementing test procedures, automating the test systems of pSSD product line, create pSSD usage models and corresponding test cases, get test plans validated, make internal systems for testing Service Delivery Cards, test the content delivery mechanism, test the mobile applications software, benchmark and analyze competitors’ products, complete comparative studies of benchmark softwares, make benchmark standards, understanding latest technology trends and providing precise, vivid competitive analysis info and supporting NAND memory systems group in analyzing the FE / BE analysis data and providing reports in a concise manner as well as support the group with new test algorithms, test data etc. The individual will also make technical presentations regarding all aspects of company products, assist sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications, implement detailed customer installation requirements and provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, company sales representatives, and customer’s employees.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience but the ideal candidate will have ECE/EEE graduate or post graduate degree with 7+ years of technical + leadership experience. The individual should be detail oriented, systematic and a people friendly leader and the work requires extensive report making, presentations and conference calls. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
