Web Development Project  Consultant - Creative Developer

Responsibilities:
The WDPC is  responsible for coordinating and participating in all facets of web
design,  production, maintenance, upgrades, quality assurance and compliance
with  established company-publishing standards. They will consult with clients
on  applications, information and content structure, user interface,
presentation,  and documentation and coordinate and communicate business and
technical  information (i.e., project activity summaries, technical briefings,
etc.) to  clients and the home office to expedite knowledge transfer within the
JWay  organization and performance of JWay’s service commitments. The WDPC also conducts standards and process training among peers at a client account, attends planning meetings and participates in tactical implementations, i.e., assisting Account/Project Manager (A/PM) identify project resources, and new sales
opportunities, etc.

This position  requires occasional on-site collaboration with the development
team in San Jose,  CA.

Qualifications:
- Must have experience  in developing in Flash using ActionScript and
integrating XML data into the  application

- Must have experience  in object-oriented programming
- Must be comfortable  with the following: ActionScript 2.0 & 3.0; Prototype
objects; Constructors;  Dynamic Text Fields; MovieClipLoader; XML Objects;
Reusable Objects,  etc.

- Knowledge of  Multimedia Applications, Database Interactions, Data
Modeling Tools and Windows  Development Tools
- Ability to conduct  on-line technology research: research, track, and
understand new web  technologies
- Understand the  fundamentals of layout and design with a keen eye for
improving web sites and  applications’ user interface/user experience
- Comfortable with PC  and Mac and understand usability issues
- Preferably have  experience with Mobile standards (XHTML/CSS/Javascript,
etc.) and video  encoding/streaming.
