Position: Senior Market Research Analyst job in SanDisk - Milpitas, CA

Job Description:
In this position, the individual will be responsible for generating various Business Object reports needed by the divisions as well as executive Management. The individual will prepare data sets for management meetings as well as manage forecasts and plans to identify issues with the company’s ability to sufficiently supply product to meet Handset BU’s goals and objectives. The individual will deal with market analysis, sizing, and provide direction. This position also is responsible in managing business unit reports (Targets/Actuals and presentations of them).
This position requires a BS/BA with 3-5 years of related experience. The individual should have experience in working with a business unit and analyzing market data set. Familiarity with Mobile Phone or Consumer Electronics markets is desired. The individual should be an expert in the use of Microsoft Office applications as well as have skills in creating as well as delivering presentations. The individual will have the ability to prepare financial analysis for business proposals and partnership opportunities. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot a
nd analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required, while multi-lingual ability and international business experience is a plus
