In this position, the individual will be responsible for sales of SanDisk mobile retail products into territories as assigned. The individual will develop new accounts and channels and manage existing. In addition, the individual will be responsible for providing forecast and information on mobile market conditions and competitive situations as appropriate/required, develop and implement sales strategies to develop the mobile market, channels and accounts and also develop and implement promotions, merchandising programs and other activities needed to increase sales and market share. Lastly the individual will also attend trade shows, provide feedback, analysis and perform other duties as appropriate.
This position requires a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience selling to the mobile retail market or equivalent. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
