Position Responsibilities - Summary:
My client is looking for a top performer to join their engineering team as a
Principal Engineer in the development of an innovative product. The
Principal Engineer will take responsibility of working on an
enterprise-level highly scalable technology platform. The Principal Engineer
will utilize their superior problem-solving and coding skills and will
participate in all phases of software development of enterprise .Net
applications. He or she will take ownership of several existing major
Platform components as well as new ones.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Looking for true stars with a stable work history, who are ready
to make an impact in a Principal role.
- Candidates must have around at least 5 years of software
engineering experience and have worked on the full lifecycle development and
maintenance of at least one commercial enterprise product, and have worked
on components of other enterprise software products as well. Experience with
high volume Internet or E-Commerce Sites is the perfect fit.
- Candidates will possess significant hands-on experience in
production-class high-performance distributed systems.
- Experience with multithreaded and transactional programming is
important.
- Candidates must have excellent programming skills, particularly on
the server side. Experience developing server side code in Java is a plus.
- Experience with .Net, SQL, XML is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of C# is a big plus.
- Familiarity with one or major RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or
Sybase) is a plus. Oracle or SQL Server preferred.
- Qualified candidates will have a B.S./M.S. in computer science or
equivalent.
