In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing and preparing multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD or other computerized equipment. The individual will check dimensions, write specifications, and verify completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots and may check design layouts and detailed drawings. Lastly, the individual will develop standard cell libraries and macro cell libraries in addition to cell-level, block-level, and full chip level DRC/LVS for flash memory.
The position requires 1-3 years of related experience in memories (flash memory a plus). Required experience includes detailed exposure and experience with analog and I/O circuit layout, Cadence “VLE, VXL,CCAR, PCELL” layout and schematic tools, and Hercules/Calibre DRC/LVS verification tools. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment and should understand and be able to build memory arrays, lay pitch circuits, and have strong skills in floor planning and manual routing. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while m
eeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
