LEAD Software QA Engineer

Our client company is a well-funded pre-IPO firm in Silicon Valley
They are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead engineer.

Responsibilities:
The candidate needs to have a proven track - record in developing Q/A
practice and processes from scratch to multiple release cycles for a
shipping product. The role would include:

- Setting up software build and system test automation environment using
Hudson, Perl, Tcl, Expect and Shell scripting

- Building and staffing a quality assurance team with both hardware and
software disciplines with focus on interoperability of various operating
systems and hardware platforms

- Supporting hardware manufacturing / software installation process with 3rd
party system manufacturers

- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, support and Sales teams to provide an
expectation of delivering a quality product to customers

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance role for a Software, Storage or
Systems company.

Previous people management experience is desirable

Hands - on experience with multiple open systems: Linux, Solaris, Windows,
VMware

Familiarity with high level languages: C, C++, Java

Desired Skills:
Preferred: Quality assurance experience with a leading storage systems
company.
