The individual in this position is to be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of all external data center operations, including short and long range strategies, day-to-day operations, production change control, incident management, vendor management and the implementation of service delivery improvement initiatives.  The position is responsible for delivering effective data center solutions which are proactively implemented and supported to address the growing demands of our growing business.

Local Candidates please

Director Data Center Operations/Infrastructure:
- BS degree in technical discipline such as information technology or computer science in preferred

- 5+ years of experience in operation of a global computing infrastructure including trouble shooting and platform analysis

- 7+ years of experience in data center management role with demonstrated understanding of the technology behind the effective delivery of data center services and know-how to support a service delivery model

-Hands on technical leader with familiarity in managed operations for common industry technology platforms (UNIX, Linux, Wintel, EMC, Cisco, Networks and Servers

-Successful candidate should have background in SAS/DB2 as well as complete understanding of Networking and systems administration

-Individual must have a track record of successfully changing  an organization from one of chaos and disorganization to a well disciplined, structured, best practice data center group

-Successful candidate must have proven record of leadership in building, leading, and motivating a team,  management background should include leading groups of 10+ individuals

-Looking for someone who is highly experienced and successful in scaling data center groups to meet growing business needs on a world wide basis

-Strong self starter, with superb written and verbal communications, outstanding attention to detail and possesses a track record of accomplishment and achievements in data center operations.
