Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
We are seeking a successful product management/marketing professional to lead product strategy, definition and execution for Motorola mobile software platform based on Android. You will be responsible for the development of market requirements, product strategy, lifecycle management, and product positioning. The position oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, identifies customer needs, interacts with engineering, operations, and sales to bring innovative new products to market.

- Develop and drive product roadmap for our mobile software platform
- Define market requirements, review feature specs and partner with engineering in product design & development.
- Identify market trends and work closely with users to identify opportunities to innovate and solve customer problems.
- Work closely with a broad and global group of Motorolans to successfully launch product based on your software platform into every region of the planet
- As a mobile software platform expert, act as product champion and spokesperson.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities to enhance current product offering and establish ongoing relationships with key strategic partners.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- 5+ years software product management experience
- Mobile or consumer industry experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in mobile technology
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt messaging to target audience
- Ability to present to both highly technical audiences as well as non-technical, business focused Individuals
