ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Software Engineer will be joining a team of highly qualified individuals responsible for design and implementation of FMN’s software platform using cutting-edge Java technologies. The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and testing of the core server’s components. He/she will be involved in the full life cycle of the development, from analyzing the technical requirements to ensuring that the software is ready for production.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Computer Science, CIS, IT, or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in development in Java, J2EE and with Application Servers, such as JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat
- Familiarity with C++ and good mathematical skills are a plus
- Experience with scripting languages, such as bash, Python, Perl
- Experience with XML technologies
- Focus on Quality and experience with Unit Testing frameworks, such as JUnit, XMLUnit, DBUnit
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent research & troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Linux/UNIX
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and works well both independently and within a team

Areas of Expertise:
- Experience in design and implementation of a distributed server architecture
- Experience in development of enterprise-level applications complying with top performance & security requirements
- Experience in Rules, Workflow and Complex Event Processing (CEP), such as Drools, StreamBase, Oracle CEP, IBM InfoSphere Streams
- Experience with Distributed Caching technologies, such as JBoss Cache, GemFire, Coherence, Memcached
- Experience using JMS technology and Message Queue system providers, such as JBoss Messaging, ActiveMQ, WebSphere MQ
- Extensive experience in design and implementation of secure web services interfaces, such as CXF, Axis
- Experience with both SOAP and RESTful web services
- Experience with Hibernate, Hibernate Validator, JDBC
